Yandex and the Lanit group of companies are leaving the joint venture for the production of OpenYard servers and selling their shares to a “group of private investors,” Yandex said in a statement. Their names are not revealed.

As reported, Yandex will develop its key technologies and businesses, Lanit will also continue to engage in software integration, development and implementation businesses, distribution and development of its own software products.
OpenYard was created in 2021 by Yandex, Lanit, VTB and Taiwanese computer equipment manufacturer Gigabyte. In October of the same year they announced that they would invest more than one billion rubles in the construction of a plant near Ryazan.
