Many smartphone owners reported that the glass back of their iPhone 15 started to crack after short-term use.

Some users even claim that the glass cracks without any reason, for example, from impact or falling.

Following growing dissatisfaction, Apple officially responded to these allegations. Company representatives confirmed that the iPhone 15’s back cover is indeed made of glass, which could make it more vulnerable to cracks.

According to Apple, the choice of glass as a material was made to better cool the device. Apple recommends using a protective case or film as a recommendation to users experiencing this problem.
