According to Oleg Kachanov, active work was carried out between 2020 and 2022 to provide schools with Wi-Fi access. In this way, approximately 10,000 schools were connected to the wireless network. However, the work was temporarily stopped in 2023.

The Deputy Minister announced that funding for the continuation of the school Wi-Fi program will be restored in 2024. This step aims to further develop the educational infrastructure and provide modern technologies to schools. Introducing Wi-Fi into schools promotes more effective learning and supports the development of digital skills among students.
