Ukrainian troops have modified howitzers by adding protective cages to protect against kamikaze drones. Interia acknowledges that such measures are unreliable, but they can limit damage and give soldiers time to evacuate.

The exact number of Krab howitzers currently in service with the Ukrainian armed forces is unknown, but according to experts, there are at least several dozen of them, and most of the facilities were destroyed by Lancets, the publication writes.
