As of October 2023, the share of the system is 26.14%, which is 2.5 points higher than in September.

However, Windows 10 still dominates the market with a share of 69.35%, despite the 2.27 point decrease in the last month.

The current situation could be a good sign for Microsoft, as Windows 11’s share growth has been relatively stagnant since April 2023.

Reports also indicate that the number of active Windows 11 devices has already surpassed 400 million, significantly exceeding the company’s initial expectations.

But despite these positive trends, 10 is still the operating system of choice for most users. Since Windows 10 support is expected to end in October 2025, users who don’t plan to upgrade their PCs within the next two years may find themselves in a difficult situation.
