Blogger and businessman Ayaz Shabutdinov was detained in Moscow, writes “360” citing a source. He reportedly flew to the capital from abroad and moved into rented apartments. There he was detained.
Law enforcement agencies confirmed the fact of the arrest to TASS. The situation is also known to an RBC source close to the Ministry of the Interior.
According to sources, the reason for the arrest was suspicion of fraud in the sale of educational courses. According to “360”, the arrest was carried out by representatives of the General Directorate of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption, as well as employees of the capital department of the Federal Security Service.
The SHOT Telegram channel indicates that the millionaire blogger arrived from Vienna. Today, November 3, Shabutdinov planned to start another course. The businessman’s representative told the Baza Telegram channel that there was no arrest, but the blogger’s home was searched.
“Everything is fine, it works. We don’t know where the news came from,” Baza quotes Shabutdinov’s assistant. Baza could not communicate with the businessman himself by phone. Shabutdinov’s last Instagram post * was published 14 hours before his arrest was reported.
Ayaz Shabutdinov is the founder of the Like Center business school. He has 1.9 million followers on Instagram * and the blogger advertises his courses there.
In early October a lawsuit was filed against Shabutdinov and his company; An investor from Nizhny Tagil demanded to recover 1.5 million rubles from the businessman.
