VTB plans to introduce a voice assistant at the end of 2023

Tamara will work on the basis of VTB’s Leo voice assistant, which is already in operation. She can replace Leo or Leo will have her own avatar, the publication’s interlocutors noted.

Konstantin Shakurov, head of analytics at IT company SimbirSoft, believes that assistant visualization is needed to attract and retain the audience through emotions. Children may be interested in animation and parents are willing to pay for what they like.

At the same time, lively assistants can annoy adults, so such assistants are more likely to stay in the entertainment industry.

The expert also suggested that they could be used in specific solutions, for example aimed at hearing-impaired users.

According to iKS-Consulting, last year the domestic market for voice robots amounted to 3.9 billion rubles. Annual growth, according to analysts, is 30-35%.
