The universe created by George Lucas between 1973 and 1974 (when he was working on the original screenplay of the first movie Star Wars: A New Hope), A benchmark in the world of cinema forever, with a relentless influence that has driven celluloid for decades.

Mandalorian

Mandalorian

Disney Plus

Set after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order, the series follows in the footsteps of Mando, a lone gunslinger working on the fringes of the galaxy, a bounty hunter belonging to the legendary tribe of the Mandalorians. The authority of the New Republic is not enough.

The Mandalorian, as it is known in the Anglo-Saxon lands, is the best series in the entire Star Wars universe with 8.7 on IMDb. For Disney’s pride, this IP was created under the current tutelage of Jon Favreau, head of business with the new Disney seal.

It stars Pedro Pascal (played by Din Djarin), accompanied by actors such as Rosario Dawson, Carl Weathers or Giancarlo Esposito. Not for the lack of quality to be honest.

A hilarious adventure where the connection between The Mandalorian and Grogu (originally known as Baby Yoda) works wonders for the public. This western (because the series is a western, with all its laws) is already on Disney+, where you can find two full seasons.

This series was on the air from 2008-2020 due to some interruptions in production. Fortunately, the Disney folks saved the project to finish off one of the most memorable animated series in the past decade.

bad shipment

Star Wars Bad Shipment

An “evil band” of elite experimental clones try to find their way through an ever-evolving galaxy as the first consequences of the Clone Wars begin to unfold.

Another animated series that triumphed among critics. This original work has a 7.9 rating on IMDb, making it one of the must-sees on the list. The most different was that the evil party, with no well-known or well-known characters behind it, was very popular. For being fun and naughty.

There is currently one season on Disney+, and one second has been confirmed to debut this fall of 2022.

Once again, a feat for the current Disney, who chose this work that caused so much joy among fans of the Star Wars universe.

boba fett book

boba fett book

The spin-off of The Mandalorian focused on bounty hunter Boba Fett and lieutenant Fennec Shand, who returns to the planet Tatooine as they grapple with the galactic underworld to reclaim the realm once ruled by Jabba the Hutt.

To understand this series, it is best to enjoy seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian, as we explained in the synopsis. And while this array isn’t very round, The game has a 7.3 rating on IMDb, making it the fourth best Star Wars series on Disney+.

Of course, a series that comes to mind again. Jon Favreau, one of Disney’s most influential and important creators, and not just for Star Wars, but for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well.

This series can be watched without any problems, and if you are a lover of original movies, you may even find it fascinating. It’s fascinating to see Temuera Morrison with her snow-white teeth wandering the sand dunes of Tatooine.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Obi-Wan Kenobi

In the wake of the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi must deal with his greatest defeat: losing his friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, to the dark side.

The series, which all Star Wars fans have been waiting for, hoping to find a river on their journey, came to Disney+ a few weeks ago and delighted us with the adventures of Master Obi-Wan on his quest on Tatooine. Growing up, he looked up and cared for Luke Skywalker from the shadows.

The series was placed in the penultimate spot with a score of 7.1 on IMDb because, to be honest, the critics didn’t quite like it.. Weak script, lack of action, inconsistency of plot… Only Ewan McGregor’s masterful performance and the final episode bring back a series that has turned into a direct thriller.

From the outside, the writers wanted to keep things interesting for that last great final episode where everything was answered in a timely manner. Despite everything, the series is enjoyable and a must-see if you like the character. Will we see season 2?

  • Title: Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • Release date: 2022
  • Duration: 50 minute episodes
  • platform:Disney+

Star Wars: Visions

Star Wars: Visions

Animation series consisting of several stand-alone episodes animated by multiple Japanese studios, presenting rich and new visions of the Star Wars universe with a philosophy similar to projects like “Animatrix”.

If you are fond of samurai stories, you will discover this. Visions is nothing more than a reinterpretation of ancient Japanese stories, where the protagonist draws a lightsaber instead of a katana.

Of all the series, it’s the weakest, adding almost nothing to the universe and being just a study to pass the time if you like the battles of Jedi knights against the Sith. It’s 7 on IMDb and they probably gave it the rating.

The series is fine for companions, but may be redundant for those wanting to learn more about the Star Wars universe as it doesn’t apply to Disney itself. Give it a try this weekend if they don’t show anything on TV.

  • Title: Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • Release date: 2022
  • Duration: 50 minute episodes
  • platform:Disney+

And so far, the best-to-worst list of shows we have on Disney+ is set in the Star Wars universe, a universe so rich and untapped that Disney could spend the next two decades premiering series and movies. you did not consume the formula … or yes?
