The Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case for fraud against blogger Ayaz Shabutdinov. The Ministry of the Interior has information about “several episodes of illegal activities” by employees of an unidentified company through which the blogger sold his courses.
A criminal case has been opened against blogger Ayaz Shabutdinov under article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on fraud. The Interior Ministry said in a statement that law enforcement officers stopped “the illegal activities of a famous blogger and business advisor.”
“Using aggressive marketing, the blogger offered to purchase educational programs, trainings, and webinars that could supposedly help him start a successful business,” the MVD Media report says.

Ayaz Shabutdinov was arrested on Friday, November 3. That day, the blogger planned to start another course. Shabutdinov is the founder of the Like Center business school; The blogger’s profile on a social network banned in Russia has 1.9 million subscribers.
