If the car is stolen, the owner will be able to contact the police with data from the Apple FindMy application, which will speed up the search exponentially.
“We are equipping residents with the technology to fight these crimes, recover vehicles, and bring people to justice. We will continue to use all the tools we have and add new ones to keep our city safe,” he said.
