Google has launched two new generative AI features for YouTube.
AI is first used to sort comments into topics to make communication easier. Video creators can use these threads for inspiration or to quickly navigate to the right commentator.
This feature is tested only on the YouTube mobile app and in English.
The second function can appear for questions about the video while watching it. Users can ask a question while watching and get an answer based on the content in the video or links to other videos. Google believes this feature will be primarily useful for educational videos.
