Many years ago, in iOS 13, Apple introduced Memoji – animated “heads” with a power sensor and dual-camera Face ID on top-end iPhones. To ensure that no one misses this fact, the company has added a large announcement window to the Emoji keyboard.

Some iPhone users, including me, got tired of this window very quickly. It switched and often used emoji from the usual place and was confusing every time. If you close it, it still returns after some time.

Disabling this “reminder” turned out to be easy, although not very obvious. After a while everyone forgot about it. You know who hasn’t forgotten? That’s right – Apple.

Now everyone who has updated to iOS 17 sees the displayed window in the Emoji keyboard, but about a different feature – “Stickers”. The feature itself is cool, we have already written how to use it. But not everyone will need it. I haven’t made a single sticker this way yet and I don’t plan to.

Since complaints come to me and multiply on the Internet in their entirety, I am posting here a short procedure for disabling “suggestions” Stickers in emoji.

How to turn off the Stickers window in iOS

1. Opens SettingsBasicKeyboard.

2. Scroll to the lowest list of options and turn off the item Stickers.

All. If you decide to use the stickers back, you can turn them on there.
