Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple has briefly paused development of new features for iOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11 and tvOS 18.
It is noted that changes in the schedule occurred last week. Employees have been asked to temporarily focus on fixing bugs and increasing the stability of the inclusion system.
Sources who spoke to Gurman said the software development team, led by Craig Federighi, discovered too many bugs that were introduced during testing, leading to a week-long sprint to resolve the issue.
After urgently fixing all the bugs, the development team returned to creating new features.
