The Association of Airlines proposed creating a single “black list” of passengers

In Russia, a single “black list” of air transport passengers may appear. Kommersant writes about this with reference to the corresponding proposal of the Association of Air Transport Operators.

According to the proposal, the “blacklist” will include passengers who have committed noisy behavior or minor vandalism on board, for example smoking. It is proposed to increase the period during which such passengers will be prohibited from using public air transport from one year to three years.

The airlines also propose giving access to this “black list” to tour operators. Aeroflot confirmed that the company has already prepared draft amendments to federal laws.

Currently, airlines cannot sell tickets on their flights to passengers who pose a safety risk on board for one year.
