Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aviation Industry Bagdat Musin stated that there are more than 800 5G base stations in major cities and emphasized that regulatory obstacles should be removed to accelerate this process.

Particular attention was paid to connecting rural schools to the internet via SpaceX’s Starlink technology, which provides data transfer speeds of up to 200 Mbit/s.

In October this year, 10 schools were connected in test mode, and it is planned to expand this to 2,000 educational institutions throughout the republic.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of developing educational programs adapted to new digital formats to improve the quality and accessibility of education in rural areas.
