Gazprom is inferior in terms of market capitalization to its subsidiary

Gazprom Neft has surpassed its parent company Gazprom in terms of market capitalization on the Moscow Stock Exchange. This is evident in the commercial data.

According to current data at the time of this publication, the capitalization of Gazprom is 4.005 trillion rubles, and its subsidiary Gazprom Neft is 4.02 trillion rubles. The shares of the former have fallen in price by 0.5% in the last five days, while those of the latter have risen 3.9%.

Gazprom Neft shares began to grow after the company announced interim dividends for the nine months of this year. If the payments are approved, they will amount to 82.94 rubles per share, which corresponds to a dividend yield of 10%.
