The tests were carried out with Ryzen 7 9800x3d, 32 GB DDR5-6000 and MSI MSI 850 Edge Ti WiFi MSI MSI in the system.
The Vulkan RTX 5080 API scored 261,836 points, ahead of the RTX 4080, while in OpenCL the gap was reduced to 6% (239,859 points versus 256 138). Interestingly, the Blackwell architecture runs more efficiently in Vulkan than in OpenCl.
RTX 5080 is equipped with 10,752 cores (84 SM) with 256-bit tires, 16 GB GDDR7 memory. The card is inferior to the RTX 5090 in computing cores and memory amount, but exceeds the previous generation by an average of 20%.
