The 2GIS service has released a major update for CarPlay and Android Auto.
Firstly, there is a quick switch from a version for a smartphone to a similar one for a car and back.
Secondly, the developers added a “route thermometer”. This is a progress bar that displays traffic jams along a long route. The same as in a navigator on a smartphone.

Thirdly, the adapted interface for right-hand drive cars has been updated. It is tweaked to improve usability.
Among other changes, an improved overview of the route is noted: you can see how much time it takes to travel along the road to “favorite” places, such as home or work, and the viewing screen displays gas stations, tire shops, service stations and other places.
A section with quick settings has also been created. It is useful for quickly turning on and turning on voice prompts, as well as an additional traffic and parking tool.
