WhatsApp Beta now offers a feature Shortcut to conversations with chatbots artificial intelligence (AI). The new feature shortens the chat path with the model, eliminating the need to access the contact list.
The shortcut is located above the “New conversation” button on the home screen. The new button is indicated by a blue circle.
AI-powered chats were rolled out to some testers in the US in September this year. The chatbot works as a super smart virtual assistant, helping the user with daily tasks and questions.
In practice, the AI chat shortcut does not offer any new functionality. The new button simply reduces the effort required to access chats, making the chatbot easier to use on a daily basis.
Artificial intelligence specific to the USA
Now, both the shortcut and the chatbot are exclusive to the United States. The feature is not expected to be released in other regions, so Brazilians will have to wait for more news.
Even if virtual assistants are not coming, Brazilians will be able to try the artificial intelligence sticker creator. The tool was made available by Meta at the end of October and should now be rolled out to the general public.
