At the RuStore Mobile Conf conference, VK Advertising Product Director Yakov Stinsky said that in 2024 the service will begin targeting the RuStore audience, helping developers and companies attract more consumers. Earlier at the event, Ivan Myzdrikov, vice president of development of email services and the RuStore app store, citing data from Mediascope, said the Russian app store’s audience had reached 22.5 million users in October .
“We are very actively looking in this direction,” Yakov Stinsky commented on the news. “Of the features that will appear in VK Advertising in 2024, the majority will be aimed at RuStore, at some new and interesting native advertising formats. And most importantly, simplifying the conversion of leads when advertising. This applies to both the selection of advertising as well as the direct interaction of users with its content.”
The audience of the RuStore application store, developed by VK together with the largest Russian IT companies with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, is constantly growing, as is the number of downloads – its total number in En October 2023, 56 million were exceeded. In addition, through RuStore they now work and monetize their products, including foreign developers (more than 8,000 of their applications are hosted on the platform).
Of the total number of applications (more than 20 thousand), the most popular categories are “finance” (36% of the total number of downloads), “useful tools” (13%), “games” (10%), “shopping” . ” (9%) and “entertainment” (6%). By integrating VR advertising targeting tools with RuStore, companies will be able to use these audience interests and consumer behavior patterns in their campaigns.
