The average income of Russian sellers in the markets increased by almost 40% and amounted to 761.9 thousand rubles. The majority of sellers live in Kalmykia (34%), the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (20.7%) and Mordovia (20.5%).
According to Infoline Analytics, the total turnover of sellers on Ozon in the first six months amounted to 549 billion rubles, on Wildberries – 940 billion rubles, on Yandex Market – 131 billion rubles, Vedomosti reports.
The number of active sellers who made at least one transaction during the past year increased to 550 thousand on Ozon, 1.1 million on Wildberries and 114.7 thousand on Market, according to Infoline Analytics calculations.
In 2022, the volume of the e-commerce market amounted to 5.7 trillion rubles, this year it will grow by more than 45% and approach 8.5 trillion rubles.
Previously, the markets summarized the results of the “11.11” sale. In three days, Ozon’s turnover exceeded 30 billion rubles, Yandex Market reported a multiple increase in turnover in most categories. The most popular “sale” categories were “household items,” “appliances,” and “electronics.”
