Amazon announced new courses to improve skills with generative AI. The new feature is called “AI Ready” and is part of Amazon Web Services (AWS) training programs.

According to Amazon, the new teaching modules aim to qualify professionals for jobs focused on productive use of artificial intelligence. The courses also help the company promote its products.

“AI Ready” content is now available on the AWS Educate portal. There are materials here that teach the basics of generative AI, creating projects with AI, lessons on how to use CodeWhisperer for coding, and more about AWS machine learning.

According to Amazon, more than 21 million people have already learned from AWS training programs. The company predicts that 2 million more people will need to apply for artificial intelligence-focused modules by 2025.

Many companies competing in the artificial intelligence industry offer courses for professionals interested in the subject. Along with Amazon, Microsoft also offers programs with lessons on generative models that guarantee certification at the end of the course.
