A Moscow court fined the Telegram messenger for refusing to remove prohibited information. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

Roskomnadzor demanded that Telegram delete, in particular, information about the Russian military and about possible methods of cashing “Pushkin cards,” Interfax clarified. The courier did not delete this information and received a fine.

In addition, a Moscow court fined the supplier Akamai Technologies 800 thousand rubles for refusing to apply restrictive measures to information prohibited in the Russian Federation.

In August, Telegram was fined 50 thousand rubles for refusing to localize data in the Russian Federation.
