9to5Mac shared photos of a pre-production Apple Watch prototype.
It was assembled in December 2013, and today is the earliest prototype that has been posted on the Internet.

The gadget runs under the control of the SwitchBoard emitter test system, based on the iOS 8 build created for the iPod touch. At the back of the device, three heart rate sensors located horizontally are stabilized.
The author of the leak, collector Giulio Zompetti, said that along with the dead watch there was a unique charger included. Although it looks like the stock one that comes in the box with any Apple Watch, the device only works for an hour with its corpses. [9to5]
