Yandex published the rules for traveling by taxi on its blog and explained what violations could restrict access to the service.
What happens if you don’t pay for the trip:
- If a passenger does not pay the service and a debt appears, the service may temporarily restrict their access to travel until the debt is paid. If these situations occur frequently, the service will freeze the amount or part of it in advance, at the beginning of the trip.
- There is also a limitation on payment methods: if you do not pay for trips in cash, you will not be able to choose this type of payment.
What happens if you abuse the service’s capabilities?
- Anyone using the service for purposes other than those intended may also temporarily lose access to orders. For example, you often call a car, but it does not leave, or you create more orders at a time than necessary, and then cancel the additional ones.
What happens if you violate safety rules while traveling?
- In some cases, the service may introduce a permanent restriction, when there is a risk to the safety of the trip.
- Among the unacceptable things, Yandex lists the creation of emergency situations (trying to get out of the moving car, insulting the driver and violating his personal boundaries) and causing damage to the driver’s property or car, trying to hijack the vehicle.
The support service evaluates the number of complaints about passenger behavior that violates the rules of the service. If there are too many, travel access may be closed.
