Manufacturer Nubia announced its new smartphone series for gamers. Red Magic 9 Pro and Pro+ The panels feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 1,600 nits.
In general, both models have the same features. The difference depends on battery power and memory. The Pro version has 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, 256 and 512 GB internal storage options and a 6,500 mAh battery. Pro+ has 16 GB and 24 GB RAM, 1 TB storage and 5,500 mAh battery.
For those who love taking photos and recording videos, The two Red Magic 9 Pro models feature a 50 MP main lens and an ultra-wide lens with the same resolution. Connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 has been confirmed for both mobile phone options.
Red Magic 9 Pro is more expensive than a modern console
According to Nubia, the recommended price of the Red Magic 9 Pro is US$ 620 in its most basic version with 8 GB of RAM (a little more than R$ 3,000 in direct conversion). Red Magic 9 Pro+ starts at $775 (R$3,700) for the model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
In other words, both will be more expensive than the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X after taxes. In July 2023, Nubia had already launched the Red Magic 8S Pro+ in China, the first mobile phone with 24 GB RAM.
