Instagram* has made it possible to download public videos to a smartphone; Previously this could only be done through auxiliary tools. All downloaded reels will have a social network watermark with your account name.
Instagram videos* can now be downloaded to your smartphone without using any additional tools. TechCrunch writes about this in reference to a statement from the director of the social network, Adam Mosseri.
The reels can be downloaded to the user’s smartphone via the “share” button by selecting the appropriate download option. All downloaded videos will have a social media watermark and your account name.
If the video contains a licensed audio clip, it will download without an audio track. Downloading of user videos can be prohibited; The feature is controlled in the privacy settings of your personal account.
*Instagram belongs to MetaPlataformas, whose activities are recognized as extremist and prohibited in the Russian Federation.
