The fastest growing sectors of small and medium-sized businesses have been named

The overall “health index” of Russian companies in the third quarter decreased by 11% year-on-year and amounted to 55 points. This is stated by a joint study by Calltouch, Tochka Bank and hh.ru.

Analysts named the industries that showed the most growth in the third quarter:

1. mechanical Engineering. The drivers of growth were the departure of foreign competitors and growing domestic demand. Since the total turnover of engineering companies decreased by 3%, the number of company registrations was twice the number of liquidations. The number of open vacancies increased by one and a half times, average salaries by 38%.
2. Transport and logistics. The Health Index increased from 45 points in the second quarter to 67 points in the third quarter. The growth was facilitated by an increase in trade turnover with China, Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as the development of e-commerce and markets. The turnover of transport companies increased by 12%, the number of open vacancies in the segment by 26% and salaries by 27%.
3. Advertising. The Health Index increased from 39 to 46 points. Growth was affected by the increase in advertising budgets, the emergence of new brands and the resumption of work of some defunct companies. The turnover of companies working in the field of advertising and marketing increased by 12%, the number of vacant positions by between 6% and 14% depending on the size of the company, and salaries by up to 16%.

To carry out the study, experts analyzed data on the work of 500 thousand micro, small and medium-sized companies in 20 industries.
