VK has appointed new product directors for social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. Both Evgeniy Vasiliev and Alexander Moskvichev are current employees of VK, but hold other positions.
Social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki have new product directors. The appointment was announced by the VK press service.
Evgeny Vasiliev became VKontakte’s product director. He previously held a similar position in Odnoklassniki. Under Vasiliev’s leadership, Odnoklassniki updated the News Feed and relaunched the Hobbies service.

Vasiliev has been working at VK since 2022. Before joining the company, he headed the Zarplata.ru service, which was later acquired by hh.ru.
Alexander Moskvichev was appointed product director of Odnoklassniki. Previously, he was responsible for the development of the social network’s communication services. Moskvichev has been working at VK since 2023; Before joining the company, he headed Yandex.Vzglyad and was responsible for the development of the textbook service.

In October, VK appointed two new vice presidents. These are the vice president of Advertising Technologies, Petr Popov, and the vice president and director of Information Security, Anton Karpov. They both worked at Yandex for more than 10 years before moving to VK.
