Gmail: How do I save an email as a PDF?

Gmail is one of the most used email servers in the world. The reason for its popularity is precisely the amount of resources it has. But there is still an option that many people do not have: To save a message in a PDF file.

Although it does not have this feature natively, there are still alternatives for you to solve the problem and download sent or received emails into PDF format files.

Step by step to save an email as PDF?

1. Open Gmail on your computer;

2. Once there, look in your Inbox for the email you want to save in PDF format;

3. With the message open, click on the three-dot icon on the right side, at the top of the email, as shown in the image below;

4. Click “Print” in the menu that opens;

5. The next window will show that the email is ready to print. However, instead of sending it to the printer configured on your PC, change your option to “Save as PDF”;

6. Then click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen;

7. Then give the file a name and choose the directory where it will be stored on your PC;

8. That’s it, now the PDF file has been saved and sent to the relevant directory.

Now that you know how to convert email to PDF, you no longer have to worry about knowing how to archive a message, export it to other apps, or save it to your device.
