Tesla tested the safety of the Tesla Cybertruck body by shooting the car with a Glock pistol, Tommy Gun and MP5-SD submachine guns, and an M4 shotgun.
In both cases, the stainless steel body was extinguished, preventing bullets from entering the interior.
All the bullets from the Glock 9 mm pistol remained in the doors, and the glass also remained intact. But one of the 12-gauge bullets from an M4 shotgun penetrated through the door, broke the glass, but did not reach the interior.
The company also showed how the Tesla Cybertruck can withstand shots to the side from a regular Dodge Ram pickup truck. There were no people in the cars. The pistol bullets entered the Dodge Ram without any problems, while the Cybertruck was once again able to withstand direct shots.
