Apple Vice President Steve Hotelling, who led many important technologies, has decided to leave the company. Apple has not yet officially announced this.
The developed Multitouch standard was developed for the first iPhone, as well as Touch ID and Face ID. Additionally, his work “included some of Apple’s most complex and important technologies” for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro.
The hotel’s name appears on hundreds of patents. He is also named the inventor of Touch ID.
