Russian electric car brand Evolute has announced plans to launch its sixth model, called i-Space, a seven-seat crossover and the first hybrid in the brand’s range. This is indicated in the Evolute message.
The name of the model refers to the unlimited space and is expected to emphasize the spacious interior, the possibility of its transformation, as well as a large power reserve.
Thus, the Evolute i-Space was equipped with a sequential hybrid drive with a total power of 178 HP. and a torque of 300 Nm with drive to the front axle.
The model also has a traction battery with a capacity of 17.5 kW, which is recharged by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine.
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 7.4 seconds. The range with a charged battery and a full tank is 1,150 km and fuel consumption is 5.5 liters per 100 km.
The electric-only range will be 87 km, which, as they point out, is “enough to move around the city during the day.”
The model will be produced at the company’s own plant in the Lipetsk region. Currently, Evolute’s product portfolio includes exclusively electric vehicles: the i-Pro sedan, the i-Joy urban crossover, the i-Sky crossover and the i-Van minivan.
