Asus has always based its strengths in mobile phones on the capabilities they provide to video game lovers, but now the PC hardware brand is preparing the ROG Phone 8, which “goes beyond gaming” and has a promising camera.

“Beyond gaming,” the accompanying tweet reads, suggesting the new phones will focus on more than just productivity and gaming.

And as you can see in the images, it’s going to be through the camera: a significant camera bump is visible, housing three cameras and a flash.

They will also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

There’s no expected release date, but Asus will likely take advantage of its presence in CES 2024 to make a presentation.

The teaser comes after the ROG Phone 8 series, specifically the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro, appeared in the certification database. The list also includes the mysterious Zenfone 11 Ultra.
