Stremio app now available on Samsung smart TV app store. It is a type of “media hub” that brings together content from a variety of services, including movies, TV series, podcasts, web channels, and live TV streaming platforms.

Streaming services and catalogs can be added as follows: additions (For example, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video). While some are mandatory for the service, the user can only choose the ones they intend to use.

Stremio is not an illegal app per se, but offers the option to access files via torrent – potentially pirated. Using the application is not considered a crime, but using some add-ons and downloading movies requires caution.

According to Stremio, the app is available on all Samsung models released from 2019. The application is not planned to be launched on older models.

If the platform doesn’t perform well on your TV, the company recommends disabling visual features from the settings menu. Options are in the “Interface” section.

The company notes that the app is being gradually distributed worldwide, so it’s possible it hasn’t reached the Samsung App Store for now. Anyway, the app is free. However, add-ons may require a separate paid subscription.

To download Stremio on your Samsung TV, simply access this path:

1. Open the “Applications” tab, which will launch the Samsung store;

2. Select the Magnifier button and type the name of the application;

3. Click the Stremio icon and then click “Install”;

4. Then scan the QR code with your mobile phone or access the specified page to complete the configuration.
