The long-term construction STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has finally been released.

More than 10 years have passed since the first announcement. The game’s release was postponed and canceled many times, but now that day has come.

Meanwhile, the head of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, called for a ban on the game, claiming that the company supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

I hope that our services have given an erroneous assessment – so that not a single product enters our market. I would like to urge those who are planning to download a pirated version of the game to hold off. We must think about our safety so as not to influence our enemies.

— Leonid Slutsky

The new product is already available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox Series S/X, as well as on Steam. Previously, Roskomnadzor stated that it would not restrict access to the game without a court decision.
