Tesla announced the release of a software update for electric cars with several important changes. One of them will allow the car to automatically call 911 if the airbags deploy in a crash. According to the company’s X account, the update will be available next week.

The company will also add support for Apple Podcast in addition to Apple Music, which became available last year. Another update is customizable car lock sounds, like clapping or a goat bleating.

The built-in navigator will now also display speed cameras, stop signs and traffic lights. And when planning trips in the Tesla app, you can plan a route with several stops and start it using the Autopilot system.

Several changes affect the integrated entertainment system. For example, it will be possible to autonomously connect Bluetooth headphones to the rear seat screens.

It was previously known that Tesla delivered the first Cybertruck electric pickup trucks to customers who reserved them in 2019. Full car production will take place at the Austin plant starting next year.
