The food delivery service “Kitchen in the District” began operating in eight new cities: Kazan, Noginsk, Kaluga, Tver, Kolomna, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Nizhny Novgorod and Veliky Novgorod. This was reported by the company’s press service.
Online retailer Samokat has become a partner of “Cooking in the District” – the service is present in all listed regions. Currently, around 15 product items (SKUs) are available to order in each city.
Before reaching new cities, the service worked in Moscow and in September it also appeared in St. Petersburg (at first also in 20 Samokat dark stores, now at 180).
“Kitchen on the Neighborhood has been around for over 6 years. Entering the regions is a logical step to scale the service. At the moment, this is possible thanks to cooperation with Samokat: they already have a ready-made infrastructure that helps us develop in new points on the map,” said Dmitry Konstantinov, head of the business development department, adding that the overall goal Next year is to continue entering new regions.
“Kitchen on the District” is a food delivery service with its own production. Delivery takes approximately 30 minutes and there are 54 kitchens in Moscow. On December 10, the company announced the launch of a menu design technology based on local user research.
