This new type of computer, called Brainoware, opens new horizons in artificial intelligence research by combining human brain organoids with electronics.

Brainoware works by using 3D mini-brains created from human stem cells organized into structures that resemble real brains.

These organelles connect to a series of microelectrodes, creating a system that can process information and perform tasks similar to those performed by traditional computers.

Brainoware has demonstrated its ability to recognize speech and predict nonlinear equations in experiments. Although the accuracy is slightly lower than pure hardware AI computers, the work represents an important first step in creating a new computer architecture.
