TITANUS Legacy is an editorial line based on icons of the past that are always current, stories that still offer infinite possibilities when creating prequels, sequels, reboots, remakes, aiming to satisfy today’s discerning and constantly evolving audience. to conquer. The projects will be developed from Titanus’ rich library of nearly 400 titles, and will also extend to IP (intellectual properties) that the company acquires in the marketplace.
The Legacy titles announced are four, the first of which is: big foot, in which a young contemporary investigator takes over from the legendary Commissioner Rizzo, played by Bud Spencer in 1973, to solve the most incredible cases in Naples today. The series was presented by Sonia Rovai, Senior Director Scripted Production Sky Studios, and Lorenzo Gangarossa, producer of Wildside (a company of the Fremantle group), both development partners of what will become a Sky Original series, and Peppe Fiore, lead writer. ., and Salvatore Esposito, co-author of the topic.

Pietro Innocenzi, producer of the one-way film Palermo-Milan, intervened in the presentation of Palermo-Milan – The series: The historical icon of 90s detective stories becomes a modern TV series full of action and adrenaline, in which two young aspiring police officers will become heroes.
To complete the Legacy line, Titanus and The Exchange, an international distributor based in Los Angeles, announce the joint development of Phenomena: Dario Argento’s cult horror that, after 30 years, will delight fans of the genre all over the world.

The TITANUS Originals line includes projects created from scratch with a clear cultural value and a strong commercial vocation: films and TV series that tell compelling and important stories that have a strong connection to our country. The first project is the movie Elena’s War: the true story of Elena Di Porto, a Roman Jew who rebelled against the rules of men and fascists in the 1940s. A woman who will go down in history for saving countless lives during a roundup in the Rome ghetto. The director and author Stefano Casertano intervened to present the project.
Titanus head of development, Duilio Simonelli, and co-author of story and screenplay Fabio Morici introduced the film Agnese and Francesca: the exciting new story of the friendship between two brave and strong women who carry a heavy burden on their shoulders: wives of the magistrates Falcone and Borsellino.
The third project is Ludwig, presented by Titanus editor and co-author Jacopo Sonnino: The True Story of the Unsuspected Couple of Italy’s Most Prolific Serial Killers, Abel and Furlan. A duo of unscrupulous killers who spread panic in our country for ten years.

In addition, there is also a special project at stake: that of Il Camorrista – The Series.
The work, which has not yet been published, marks the directorial debut of Oscar winner Giuseppe Tornatore (1986), who personally intervened to illustrate the project. It will be restored and digitized in 4K and 5.1 audio by Titanus, which has recovered the original films from the Cineteca di Bologna archive for a worldwide launch scheduled for 2023. The plot follows one of the most controversial events in the Italian history after more than 30 years accompanying the viewer in the maze of organized crime from the story inspired by the life of Raffaele Cutolo, the founder of the Nuova Camorra Organizzata.
