Russian educational robotics manufacturer Robbo has announced its entry into the Egyptian market. At the beginning of 2024, the company will open the first Robbo Club in the Arab Republic, the manufacturer’s press service reported.

Russian educational robotics manufacturer Robbo enters the Egyptian market

“Robbo Club” will operate in New Cairo in a franchise format. The educational center will educate children from 5 to 15 years old. During classes, students will be able to master the basics of 3D modeling, robotics, microelectronics, space engineering and physics.

According to Robbo founder and producer Pavel Frolov, there are few robotics schools in Egypt today and the demand for training in these types of areas is increasing. According to Frolov, Egypt lags behind Russia in this area by about five years.

“Egypt has a fairly large proportion of young population: out of 100 million inhabitants, around 21 million are children under 18 years of age. All this gives reason to believe that IT training in Egypt will actively develop. That is why Robbo hopes to be successful in this country,” Frolov explained.

Local teachers will be hired as teachers. But all teachers will receive special training from the company’s methodological department. After completing the course, teachers will receive certificates confirming their right to study using Robbo products.

All classes will be taught in Arabic, but children over 12 years old can switch to English if they wish.

Last October, the company announced plans to develop the Chinese market. Robbo received a grant of 20 million rubles to adapt the Robbo Class and Robbo Club products to China.
