Google has announced a new smart AI, Project Astra.
The project is still at the prototyping stage, but the company has already demonstrated its capabilities. The model is able to immediately recognize objects in the frame directly in the camera application.
In short, Project Astra was able to independently find the speakers using the query “find what plays sound”, told about its part, and also remembered where the owner left his glasses. I was also able to describe what the code does on the computer screen.
In addition, the innovation has also been integrated into glasses. Using a built-in camera, they scanned the wearer’s surroundings and the diagram on the board. The person in the video then asked, “What can I add here to make this system faster?” To this, the Neural Network replied: “Adding a cache between the server and the database can improve speed.”
There is no exact release date for Project Astra yet. Google said that some of the announced new products will be available before the end of 2024.
