The expert recommends breathing slowly and deeply, about six times per minute. So it should take you 10 seconds to breathe. If you do this regularly, your breathing rate in daily life will decrease, which will reduce your stress level.

Then you can try breathing slowly in stressful moments. However, what really matters here is the low respiratory rate. You can also try making your exhale take a little longer than your inhale. This will lead to an even greater change in heart rate, which will be beneficial for health.
