Today, 20% of large Russian companies use generative artificial intelligence in their work. Of them, 12% have already been able to identify priority scenarios for the use of AI, another 27% are specifically experimenting with this technology. These data are shown in the study “Artificial intelligence in Russia – 2023: trends and prospects” by Yandex and the company Yakov and Partners.
During the study, technical directors of the largest Russian organizations in 15 key sectors of the economy were interviewed.

Sberbank’s Kandinsky neural network is chosen by 40% of surveyed companies to work with images.

70% of this potential is concentrated in six key industries: transportation and logistics, retail, mining, banking, consumer goods and IT.
Experts believe that the effect obtained from incorporating AI into business processes by 2028 will reach 4.2 to 6.9 billion rubles. Of this figure, between 0.8 and 1.3 trillion rubles will depend on generative artificial intelligence.
