The number of active Ozon sellers in cities with a population of less than 50 thousand people almost doubled on average from January to September 2023, and the number of collection points under the market franchise increased 2.3 times compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the message on the online platform.

Ozone sellers in small Russian towns multiplied their sales by 2.4 in 2023

On average, sales of entrepreneurs from small Russian cities on Ozon increased by 2.4 times in 2023.

  • In small towns of the Voronezh region and the Krasnodar Territory, sellers’ turnover increased on average 4 times.
  • Entrepreneurs in small towns in the Leningrad and Rostov regions doubled their turnover.
  • Small towns in the Novosibirsk region took the record: sales volume increased 7.4 times.
  • Sellers from small towns in Bashkortostan increased their sales by 6.2 times, Tatarstan by 5.2 times, Samara region by 3 times, Saratov region by almost 4 times, Sverdlovsk region by 82% and Tver region by 2 ,6 times.

According to Ozon, more than 20 thousand entrepreneurs throughout the country already have company collection points, half of them entered the market in 2023. More than 6 thousand are developing businesses in small towns and urban-type settlements with a population of up to 50 thousand inhabitants.

The number of Ozon franchise collection points in cities with a population of up to 50,000 people increased 2.3 times during the first 9 months of 2023 compared to the same period last year.
