In addition, the system automatically adjusts the brightness and color temperature to the surrounding space, which greatly saves the eyes from fatigue, for example, in the dark or in other conditions that are uncomfortable for vision.

The screen backlight flickers at 14,880 Hz at 100% brightness and below. This indicator is so good that the flickering will be almost invisible to the eye. Therefore, you don’t have to be afraid of a negative attitude towards PWM on your well-being.

Performance

The Apple M4 Pro is available in two versions – with 12 or 14 processor cores. In each case, 4 cores and 8 or 10 performance cores are combined.

My laptop has a version with 12 processor cores (8 high-performance and 4 energy-efficient), 16 GPU cores and 24 GB of RAM. In practice, this means an incredibly fast solution to any task: launching programs, rendering videos, working with certain files – it all happens. instantly.

On this MacBook you can no longer be afraid to run heavy games. For example, Baldur’s Gate 3 ran at maximum conditions at 1080p with a performance of about 60 frames per second.

The maximum fan noise level is stated at 44.5 dBbut I repeat: I never managed to hear him.

As for the heating body, it is located in the central zone of the keyboard when performing particularly resource-intensive tasks. At the same time, the lower part of the case remains cool, so it is convenient to hold the laptop on your lap.
