“Accept change or die” is sometimes a premise, especially in the digital sphere, which is why the three pornography sites that get the most traffic are: pornhubXVideos and Stripchat will have to undergo major changes.
This is because XXX websites will now be governed by European Union laws that require age verification.
The three sites will be subject to stricter controls under the Digital Services Act because they each have an average monthly audience of 45 million users, according to the European Commission, the EU’s executive arm.
Currently, none of the three services require visitors to undergo strict age verification (i.e. age verification rather than self-declaration) before accessing content, but this may change.
The law includes provisions that protect children by prohibiting them from “accessing pornographic content on the Internet, even through age verification tools,” the commission said in a press release.

France, Germany and Britanniaand US states, including Utah And Texashave created laws requiring porn sites to verify that the user is over 18 years old. Methods may include checking credit cards or government-issued IDs or scanning faces to estimate age, but all of these systems raise concerns about privacy and discrimination.
The European Digital Law also calls for measures to limit the risk of the spread of illegal content online, such as child sexual abuse material, or content that violates “fundamental rights” such as privacy, such as “non-consensual” images or deepfake pornography.
“These measures may include, but are not limited to, adapting their terms, interfaces, processes or moderation algorithms,” the commission said.
