Barring a miraculous presidential veto by December 25, the Apple Watch ban could cause chaos this holiday season. Affected Apple Watch models will be removed from Apple.com on December 21, followed by Apple retail stores on December 24. Third-party retailers like Amazon and Best Buy will face out-of-stocks as stocks run out, thanks to an import ban that will come into effect on December 26.

Amid the chaos, Apple is urging users to purchase “perishable” models before they disappear. The Blood Oxygen feature will remain functional on existing devices.

This tech feud shows no signs of abating, with Apple filing a lawsuit against Masimo.
