Sber will cooperate with the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the field of application of artificial intelligence technologies. The agreement was signed with Sber Business Soft, according to the company’s press service.
Cooperation with the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is aimed at creating and using artificial intelligence products for effective work in the structures of operational services, Sberbank explained.
They clarified that professors from the educational institution of the Ministry of the Interior and specialists from Sber Business Soft will work together to create an artificial intelligence model.
The technology is designed to speed up cartridge casing analysis for law enforcement officers. In particular, with the help of computer vision, law enforcement officers will be able to compare the found cartridges with the type of weapon found at the scene.
Sberbank experts will also help in the practical training of cadets and develop their skills in working with digital evidence.
“We are ready to participate in the implementation of joint projects, share knowledge and experience in the field of banking and the development of digital technologies,” said Natalya Demina, manager of the Sberbank branch in Volgograd.
