Petr Ivanov, head of the analytical systems department at IT integrator First Bit, says that young people’s interest in neural networks is associated with their preferences for entertainment content and the desire of businesses to make money. Mobile operators are also reporting impressive growth in the use of neural networks: traffic to AI services has increased by 2.6 times, and the number of users will almost quadruple in 2023.

According to Ivanov, the greatest interest in artificial intelligence is seen among people aged 14-20, and the time they spend with neural networks has increased by 1.5 times. The expert states that the appeal of artificial intelligence stems from its accessibility and ease of creation. New neural networks “Masterpiece” and Kandinsky, as well as services for creating musical compositions, are also popular.

Ivanov highlights generative adversarial neural networks such as Masterpiece and Kandinsky as the main tools for creating entertainment content. He states that young people use these to express themselves and attract attention, while businesses also show interest in original content. However, the expert emphasizes that there are questions regarding the quality of intellectual property and content, and the main task of a business is to follow the trends and meanings of new phenomena to better understand the customer.
